@coming to_falling too I've seen a couple of re-enactors with meerschaum pipes; they both let me have a pipeful of baccy to smoke in my clay:)
An English Civil War Royalist would NOT smoke Sobranie in his clay pipe as it means "Parliament" in the Slavic languages...

Enjoyed a tasty Jazz apple, and am smoking year 2007 Astley’s No. 109 in a straight smooth brown circa 1950s-60s BBB Contrast 506 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Going to work now.

Now smoking Peter Stokkebye No. 17 English Luxury in a straight post-1981 GBD Prehistoric 133 billiard with brass accents, the letter K stamped on the shank with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Have enough for one more bowl. Working and listening to the Dodgers-Cubs game.
