Been on a HU Director’s Cut binge the past two days…

I bought a several lbs 3 years ago. It’s definitely a bit more Kentucky forward.

I set out some more this morning to dry out a bit. I added a few pinches of PS 311 Perique and pinch of Sutliff 707 Sweet Virginia and mixed it up.

It’s a bit more plummy with some pepper notes; and the 707 seems to sublimate the smoky, peppery edge. Perhaps this what it might have been before they allegedly changed the blend… I like it.

About a quarter of a bowl left of year 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a smooth straight brown early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Been a busy day.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm about a third of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Astley’s No. 44 in a smooth slight bend dark brown 1940s-1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 228C prince with a tapered black vulcanite stem. The last of El Salvador Dali, neat, is my drink.
