2013 FVF in a Altinay Meer. Under the umbrella as it mizzles around me. I’ll ask, as another gentleman did earlier, for an opinion on the shape of this pipe. I purchased from pipestud last fall and don’t recall the shape described. I’ve previously referred to it as a bent ostrich egg due to the largeness of the bowl. Am I correct in calling it an egg shape?

A tall bowl of C&D Bayou Night, a strong tasty
English with Perique, in one of my favorite pipes, sent to me by a Forums member, a smooth bent billiard by Les Wood, a Ferndown. Wood was a metal smith with Dunhill, and later went off on his own as a carver, and is now mostly retired, I think. Though strong, this blend is a cool and refined smoke and burns nicely in this deep bowled pipe.

I’m having WCC Simply VOriental in a Markus Fohr clay pipe for a slightly shorter smoke. It’s boardering on being too hot to smoke outdoors right now and I just can’t derive any pleasure from it, if I‘m uncomfortable.
Great minds think alike. I loaded my Maple Hardwood with VOriental to smoke tomorrow afternoon.

Enjoyed a very tasty cinnamon raisin French toast lunch (six slices) with a few peach slices on the side. I'm about a third of the way through this bowl of Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a straight smooth brown 1950s Comoy’s Tradition 305 apple military mount with a sterling silver cap and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Braves-Marlins game.

Dammit. Now, @jiminks has me craving french toast at 6:45 on a Saturday evening. The power of suggestion is strong with my simple mind. Oh well, I know what I’m having for breakfast now.
