Now smoking Ken Byron Ventures Live Wire in a smooth almost full bend 1981 Briar Workshop round brandy signed by Elliott Nachwalter with a pearl gold acrylic stem. Just finished cleaning a few pipes.
Great album. I think I actually have it on LP.H & H Magnum Opus in a sandblasted Briarworks bullmoose. Occidental Hefeweizen is the drink, and musical accompaniment is Duke Ellington and Johnny Hodges’ “Back to Back”.
That sound was me falling over bc you were smoking a meerschaum. Oh, wait, you kind of are...?Cornell & Diehl: Black Frigate in a MM Cob...
That one with the long shank though ?Smoking a Virginia house blend, which is probably made by Kohlhase & Kopp in a Castello KKKK Shape 74.

That’s a cool shape. I love panels. Do you smoke with or without a filter? I have always passed on 9mm pipes bc I don’t smoke w a filter but have no problem smoking a Savinelli 6mm without one. I don’t know what my problem is, lol.

I love Castellos but I don’t know why they insist on using the diamond for American versions. Great looking pipe! Enjoy! My Castello arrived, firing up a couple of MacBaren dark twist coins rubbed out.View attachment 36593
Are those the little ones? Sounds like a great day!Had a good day yesterday full of pipes and fishing/shrimping on the water. @BarrelProof and I enjoyed many blends including HU Makhuwa, Esoterica Dunbar, McClelland Vanilla Ice, Esoterica Penzance, Peter Heinrich’s Dark Strong Flake, and last but certainly not least, McCranie’s Red Ribbon 1983 brought by the very generous @BarrelProof.
Pipes included a red sandblasted eltang basic, black sandblasted tsuge ikebana billiard, Savinelli impero smooth 111KS, Bruno Nuttens vintage smooth cutty, MM bent emerald, and MM washington rob roy. Not too many fish, and they were all little, but it was a fine day on the water.
