Now smoking Sutliff Prince Andrew in a 2020 smooth light brown, slight bent J. Everett straight grain chubby author with a spalted birch ferrule and a black saddle vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Resting after walking in the brutal sun and humidity. Drinking more ice water and bergs.

Semois/ Potlatch mix, in a Savinelli Venere rusticated apple, first prize in the pipesmagzine/SP cartoon caption contest of yore. It's a sweet little pipe with plenty of bowl for its size, and by luck, a pretty good home mix. This left me with a pinch of this mix, to which I added PS unflavored black Cavendish for a final finish to the Potlatch 2 oz tin. Pipe to be announced. Surprising how good impromptu mixes can be with a moment of thought.

Where NY, CT & MA meet
MB HH Latakia Flake in a Tilshead Dublin. This is another pipe I picked up awhile back in a flea market lot (The same one as the silver banded Dunhills. All told 3 Dunhills, 1 Barling, 3 Tilshead and 2 Peretti pipes). Finally got around to cleaning this one and the last of the lot, a Tilshead Billiard, yesterday. Somehow the stem actually turned greener while I polished it, lol. Maybe I will give it another shot at some point down the line. Smoking well on this very windy day. 7E0FBDC4-2E2C-4321-B5FC-56B26F4172E6.jpeg
