Relaxing after a wonderful salad, French cut pork chops and green beans dinner with opera torte and vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. Now smoking year 2015 Strang in a 2003 smooth medium bend straight grain Ardor Venere Extra signed by Dorelio Rovera Dublin and a black acrylic saddle stem. Have enough in a baggie for a couple of more smokes. Ice water and bergs is my drink as I watch the Braves-Mets game.
Had some Penny Farthing with a pinch of Kendal Dark Shag in a Radice blasted Stack.
Another Radice, this one a silk cut bent billiard. Peretti No. 8 Slices in there.

It’s been an absolutely beautiful day here in Austin, uncommonly cool, beautiful vanilla sky, watching the sun set. I’m sipping on some Salty Dogs (2016) in a P. Jeppesen and enjoying the company of my 3.5 year old daughter! She’s my bestest friend in the whole wide world of wonders, the love of my life!

Currently enjoying an outstanding bowl of aged Dunhill Elizabethan. Wow. I haven’t posted much because I have been trying to smoke in the mornings during very hot and humid conditions and everything has tasted terrible. Even my pipes were burning hot. Tonight, everyone is sleeping and the humidity has broke. This is one of those perfect bowls that’s practically smoking itself. I also packed it a little tighter than usual.
A busy day so not a lot of pipe smoking. Been making up for that tonight with several bowls of Argento Virginia/Burley in the Hardcastle's Argyle Bullcap......while drinking some crap whisky.

A quarter of the way of the last of my open stash of Watch City Off the Rails in a 1980 black sandblasted full bent Ascorti Business Extension Saxaphone with a thin gold band accent and black acrylic saddle stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in quite a while.
Popped open a year old tin of c & d opening night and smoked it in a Peterson bent pot. Pretty good. I'm glad a bought a few tons to age.

Samuel Gawith Balkan Flake is a mixture of Virginias and Latakia. This is called Balkan despite the fact there are no Orientals in the mix, because the Virginias are from the Balkan region. I had jarred this 3 years ago, after a purchase I made from a forum member. It has 3+ years of age, and the Virginias are now shining with sweetness.
