One of my newest blends. Black stoved Virginia and 40% perique flake. Sprayed with a little tonka bean soaked in bourbon before pressing. I am really digging it.

Surprisingly the perique intensity is mostly in the first quarter of the bowl, and then it mellows out and the creamy, fruity tangy virginia really comes through. The slight touch of tonka amplifies the creamyness and adds some vanilla and cinnamon notes. I'll be making more of this for sure.
That does sound really good! Perique flake? Do you press your own?
