Started the day off with TH Cherry Creme Flake in a Dunhill Amber Flame 6103 Billiard. It's excellent but very light compared to their other flakes. I find myself wanting more of the richness and depth their VaBurs have. I'll probably stock up and let it age a bit and see how it does.

Then into a bowl of D&R Ramback. D&R is the best value tobacco for the money. I just keep forgetting to pack it extra tight. It's so dry it burns like magicians flash paper if you don't.

University Flake in Peterson System Spigot 302. UF is rather nice. At first, I thought it was too much of an aromatic for me. But it's a rather very comfortable smoke.

Now smoking the current version of Peretti London Flake in a 2003 medium bend straight grain Viggo Nielsen sitter with a cumberland-like lucite saddle stem. Thought it'd be interesting to compare with the earlier version which was made by McClelland.

Having some FMOTB in a pipe a just restored, a Celius Root Bishop 19. Picked it up from EBayer for$22 &free shipping. Also got a Charatan from 60’s era for $28 and a Clarendon for $11.50. I’ve been working on 13 pipes this past week. Having a spinal fusion Thursday and wife said no smoking during recovery. I’m living it up now!
