Enjoyed a tasty snack, finished work, and finished watching The Cincinnati Kid starring McQueen and EGR. Now smoking Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite stem.

D&R Rowland in a rough old Grabow Westbrook straight brushed apple. This pipe arrived included with a rack, my primary objective, and a few other old pipes. I've found it to be a favorite, and picked up a couple more Westbrooks to see if that would be a trait shared by the entire line. This one is still my favorite of 3 Westy's.

Last smoke of the day is Angler's Dream in a slight bend 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 grain etched with a smooth front with a black vulcanite stem. Watching a documentary on John Lennon.

Re-ordered the smokes this morning, having C&D Byzantium in my cuspidor stack. This is a very good Balkan to my taste. I think it gives White Knight some competition.

Packed but not yet lit, Russ O.'s Chestnut, a match to the discontinued Walnut, in a Sav slightly bent pot with a nice broad chamber to capture all those different tobaccos; just sent a serious piping friend some Chestnut and he, a highly discerning pipe man, thoroughly approved.

Just past the half way mark on this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Boylan's Birch Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Almost time for Mad Dog Russo.

Oops, correction to my last post. I got down the Sav pot, but I packed my Rossi prince with the Chestnut, which I'm now smoking, another good broad-bowled pipe for this excellent multi-tobacco blend.
