Not far from finishing this bowl of HU Old Fredder’s Broken Flake in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Had a great visit from my favorite niece. Ice tea and bergs is my drink.

C&D Dreams of Kadath, a really elegant plug cut blend with burley, Virginia, Katerini, and dark-fired, in a Jerry Perry semi-rusticated straight panel billiard w/saddle stem; this blend is courtesy of Forums member Scot, a sample from the Chicago show. I prepped it with a little grater device given me by my wife, that broke the leaf down a little more than just rubbing out and unfolded the flavor I knew was there. I enjoy C&D blends like Billy Budd and Old Joe Krantz, but this is a somewhat more complex blend. I'd order in a tin.
