Frankly, I don't know what I'm smoking -- I think it's Golden Glow with some Anni Flake and maybe a little Billy Budd, all left over from the drying bowl, over which I pack my pipes. It's pretty good; sometimes these pick-up blends are not tasty. I can attest I'm smoking it in a brushed brown Stanwell pot, a shape designed by Sixten Iversson bought new on sale from P&C for $49.99. Haven't actually lit it; it's packed from last night.
Cube-cut Troost Slices in a Stanwell Duke bulldog.
I rarely cube cut for the simple reason I'm too lazy to 1) plan and 2) execute said preparation. Also, I always forget to leave space and so over-stuff with the cubes, ending up with a solid block of expanded tobacco that needs a jack-hammer to shift and a bowl imitating a nuclear reactor. However...tonight the planets aligned and I got it all right. Every step. My reward is a wonderfully cool, tasty smoke that has transformed my view of this blend. Yum yum!
