Smoking now some random mix of various mixtures, in the loooooong Old Vic pipe.
Wanted to say something but not start a thread cause I think it probably has been discussed again (and again). Sometimes I use to make a few draws from a pipe I have not lighted up yet. And does this ("smoking" unburned tobacco) gives me some kind of strange satisfaction? Yes, it does! Do you do this sometimes?
Wish you a nice Thursday (morning, noon, evening, night) good people!

- Yes, I do. It's rather like smelling a nice glass of whisky or wine, or food on a plate, before you taste it. With pipes, it also has a practical use as a last-minute test that no stray crumb of tobacco has blocked the chamber airway. Have a good what's left of Thursday evening, over there in Athens :)

A bowl of Paladin Black Cherry in a Missouri Meerschaum Legend chore cob, while playing in the woodpile. I really didn't care for this blend when I first tried it fresh, but it seems to have mellowed out in a few months and actually smokes pretty darn good. I'm starting to get why these "codger/OTC blends" have been so popular over the years.
