A couple of friends have been sick the last couple of days, so m'lady made a pot of chicken soup for them. I ate what was left, and am half way through this bowl of Capitansky/Captain Rum in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a tapered dark tortoise shell colored acrylic stem. This version was produced in Leningrad between 1974 to 1983. Writing a review of this blend. Only got enough for two bowls.

Passing the first third of this bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. That last smoke was so potent that I can taste it as I smoke this bowl. Tomato the Brave was being a jerk to Harry the Hairy. I told him to stop and shook a finger at him. He knew what that meant, and he ran to the back door. I let him out. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Earlier today I had Cornell & Diehl Winchester in my usual Dr. Grabow Lark, and now I'm trying out Captain Black Gold in a Morgan Bones Milan.

I really liked the dark and earthy red Virginia + unsweetened cavendished Burley flavor profile of Winchester, though I'm not too sure about Captain Black Gold. It's strangely temperature sensitive for an OTC blend and rather acidic, though it does have a nice simple sweetness to it.puffy

Got a TAD fix today. Im now sampling a pinch of HU Janneman flake in a Kai. While its Red VA and perique to me its in a similiar wheelhouse as DRN...but of course a little different. LIght, bready with perique as a condiment. This is dried an hour and stright from the tin so no time to open up. For me this and DNR are as close to a straight VA as I want. I really like condiments. Im glad I tried this. Its is very good. Very smooth as well.

Thanks @karam for the enouragement to try this one!
