One flake each of HH burley flake and old dark fired in my Rattray’s olive wood. The wood is gradually darkening, which is a delight.

First pipe session of 2025 was a satisfying bowl of Samuel Gawith Balkan Flake in a Crown Jewels billiard. Perfect blend for a damp dreary day, though the sun did peek out a bit while I enjoyed this smoke. With the holiday season coming to a close, my household will return to some sort of normalcy tomorrow. Though not necessarily a bad thing, the last few weeks sure did go by a bit too fast for me. Happy New Year!
Did a little snacking, and am at the last quarter of this bowl of Watch City English Ernie-ental in a straight dark brown and tan rusticated Peterson 2023 Saint Patrick’s Day 264 Canadian with an Irish flag colored ferrule and tapered black acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
