On the deck smoking some C&D Maestro Puccini in a GBD Collector tugboat shape. The space heater is cranking, the seat warmer is underneath, and the coffee is hot from the French press. 
SG Navy Flake, a whole one hoiked out of the tin, folded and stuffed into my new Chacom Cuba 275 billiard, a few crumbs of C&D Blockade Runner sprinkled on top for tinder. Yarrrr! Champion.

Good morning all. Once again I'm up way too early and watching premier league footie. A bowl of Bayou Morning in my Briarworks Apple.
Chenet’s cake in a J Alan. Just got my Rabbit Air filter and it does not disappoint. Finally have a solution for winter smoking. I figure I won’t need to run it much in the warm months, I do enjoy smoking on my deck if it’s not freezing.
Highly recommend this product. I’ve talked to several folks who have used them for years and they seem to stand the test of time. Not cheap but a buy once kind of deal. You do have to replace filters but they last a good long time.
Run it with a fan and a cracked window for more efficient filtering.

A few minutes ago I came eye to eye with a Coopers Hawk who had just killed a starling (I think). She let me get pretty close.

“Carter Hall, in a cob, and strong black coffee are a gift from God.” I first read this here many years ago. I don’t remember the author so, I can’t properly attribute. I can verify it is an excellent start to a fine day. It helped me find my way as a new pipe smoker. For many years, most of my days begin with burley, cob, and strong black coffee.
I built a flintlock last year with one of Jim Kibler’s kits. Virginia pattern. The horn was also from a kit. I carved the 13 colony snake on top and the Battle of Trenton map into the horn. Working on a tomahawk pipe at the moment.
