Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Tomato the Brave was waiting by the back door, and he had plenty to eat. Haven't seen Abner the Eager or Harry the Hairy, but I know I will. Daisy the Feral Princess ate and is back on her blanket. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Two gumfuls of chew this morning. That's it. No pipe until tomorrow evening. Posted a lot earlier because there were a lot of wonderful pipes to comment on so I did.

Also angst. Range day today, and I'm doing handguns. Yay. Not looking forward to the probable newbie demos and possible rangewarden request in my area of weakness. However it is what it is and I'll have two homerollies and a thermos of cold coffee to console me. Cheers.

Yup, truly some great pipes displayed today. 😍

Did a set of walking reps, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. The sun came out, and melted much of the snow, but the cold wind was still in force.

I'm getting reacquainted with an old favorite.
I realized the other day I hadn't smoked any of this in a year or two, so I opened a tin and it's just as good as I remember.

I’ve been tinkering in my woodworking shop today watching the snow melt.

Don’t know why but I picked up a 304 Peterson Arklow that I bought new and hadn’t gotten around to smoking along with a December 2013 tin of Maltese Falcon I have been waiting to open.

Got a nice swoosh from the tin when I popped, loaded the Pete and am on my third bowl. I am enjoying it but not what I hoped it would be. Am forming an opinion that my favorite lat blends are just as good if not better fresh than aged.

I’m thinking I will go in and get a different pipe and tobacco in a bit, getting some moisture from the new pipe and should let it rest a bit.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have a third of a bowl left of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink. My neighbor came over to fix our dishwasher, and wouldn't charge us anything for it. There's nothing like a good neighbor.
