My battery went first day of the cold snap. Same, $300! Can’t believe the prices on those now. Pretty sure I paid ~$150 seven years ago when I last replaced it. Also have had quite a few issues with coolant for the same reason. Cheap parts even on expensive vehicles.
It’s ridiculous but at least it’s not a Tesla battery lol.

My son who works in the auto industry recommends changing the battery every 5 years no matter the brand.

Thanks. Yeah, the magnets work quite well. No fuss. Was an estate. Smallish bowl (.75) but holds more than you would think. Easy to clinch. I'm becoming quite a fan of Briarworks pipes as they are executed nicely.
I thought that was was a really cool setup for a calabash and it’s a phenomenal looking pipe as well.

image.jpgSmoking the GBD Virgin on the bottom of the photo. However, in my sleepy daze, I grabbed the top one instead and stared at if for several minutes. It took a while for me to realize that it was my Willard pipe and that my Memory of the GBD wasn’t just fantasy. I kept thinking, I don’t recall a screw that n tenon in a GBD.
