Going to have Peterson Nightcap in a Meerschaum lined Peterson Kapmeer 80s Bulldog P-Lip—although Kapmeer pipes first appear in the Peterson catalogue in 1968, this is probably circa early ’60s, as it’s stamped “MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN”—the London factory closed its doors in 1962.

Now smoking Wilke No. 111 in a straight smooth medium brown 2016 Brigham Klondike 16 bulldog with a tapered black acrylic stem. Abner the Eager has, uhhhh, eagerly returned to eat, and sleep in a warm place. Tomato the Brave studiously watches him, but he knows to leave Abner alone. I wish Daisy was like that. She doesn't like Sam the Scamp either. She does stay out of Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger's way. Daisy has learned that if she's mean to another cat, she will get a "time out" and get put outside for a while.
I think I have the same one, this is shape No 183.
Sutliff Uno (shoulda got more of this blend) in a Kaywoodie Super Grain. 
Smoking now "the Last of the Falcons", that is the last pipe of the "Falcon phase" in my rotation, I hope it will come again in some weeks, in it some Käpt'n Barsdorfs Bester Virginia.

I may end the day with this smoke. Tomato the Brave was in play mode and wanted to go outside. I opened the door, he ran out, saw how cold it was (24 degrees), and quickly realized he had it better inside the house. I said to him, "Tomato the Brave, huh?" He looked at me and sneezed twice. I got the message.

Good morning. After more than a week with the damn covid. I start with the first pipe. A bowl of dt Veermaster Hamborger, in a Charles Towne Cobbler MM. I blamed my cold, on a couple of very cold beers. It seems that it was really the covid that shook me up again. I'm still sore, but what the heck, today is a rest day, and I missed a little tobacco. Here in Spain we finally got some snow and some torrential rains. I missed you guys. Hope you are well. I wish you a happy saturday. And God bless you.
Got 2 more packets of extra thin pipe cleaners this morning; some of my pipes only have thin stems and get blocked easily... Saving my churchwarden for special occasions like re-enactment & meeting Jason the blacksmith. Hope I don't break any more clays at the Battle of Nantwich event 1 week today.

Im trying to decide if Im getting more Ascanian blend/Castle blend on my next order. While its good I cant say for sure that it stands up to HU blends. The jury is still out. Im smoking it in a Ser Jacopo. Interestingly enough it is more expensive than any HU blends. I suspect because the price of perique. As I smoke it I wonder what it would be like with a little extra burley or DKF.
