Ugggh what a day. Dropped my daughter off at school, started heading towards work and a radiator hose blew. I don’t know why automotive companies use plastic parts on radiator lines, so dumb. Anyway, after my wife picked me up and took me to the auto store, bought what I needed to fix it, I got back and fixed it only to find the 30 minutes that I was gone with my four ways on, turned out I also needed a new battery lol. $300 later, I’m not working on pipes tonight, just straight to the Sutliff Virginia flake in a Savinelli with a glass of whiskey. My battery went first day of the cold snap. Same, $300! Can’t believe the prices on those now. Pretty sure I paid ~$150 seven years ago when I last replaced it. Also have had quite a few issues with coolant for the same reason. Cheap parts even on expensive vehicles.

I don’t know how much you’re prepared to spend but I’ve seen some beautiful ones on eBay, antiques that were owned by the Samurai class with incredibly designed holders and pouches. They’re works of art.
Yup! Having the same effect on me. Now I have to get one of those cool Japanese pipes! This forum is hard on people with budgets! :ROFLMAO:
In the meantime, I enjoyed some Mississippi Mud in my rusticated Brigham. Good stuff it is!

Only a week ago, I was determined to take a break from buying pipes to save money for my first meer.

I was faithful back then😂

Been relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm just finishing this bowl of year 2014 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth dark brown 1916 Barling The Hunt with beautiful silver work and a black vulcanite saddle stem with an orific bit.
