Good day all! Hit by the Flu the last 36 hours but managed to rally this morning enough to start a bowl of the ever-therapeutic Peterson Elizabethan Mixture delivered by a wonderful Upshall P Dublin with smooth beveled with pencil shank and tapered stem. Heading back to bed with the great aftertaste and a pleasant buzz.

MacBaren Royal Twist '21 in my other Briarworks Prince blast.

This is one of those blends you have to dedicate the first third of the bowl that is a little weak to be richly rewarded for the other 2/3rds of pure bliss. Spicy and Sweet and full of flavor in the prince bowl that I usually reserve for Latakia blends.

It's treat time! I haven't had Ennerdale in over 5 years (hanging on to the little I have) but decided to open a freshly received one to see if it's really different from the older releases. The casing seems less strong but it's still there, both in tin aroma and in the taste when smoking. Sparkling water on the side.

Smoke #33 in the one year meer was Red Rapparree
Smoke #34 in the one year meer was Hamborger Veermaster

I'm still working on the correct lighting for a new photo as the coloration after 30 some bowls isn't much, it seems white when it is in full daylight on the picture, but it is actually turning a bit more beige.
@DanWil84 Do you think I could do "1 year, 1 clay" another year???

After getting the last of the leaves out of the front yard, it is definitely time for a fine cup of Kenyan black tea and a smoke. Second smoke in this Hilson Giant, Canadian, Made in Belgium with a hodge-podge of left over tobacco prep “scraps” I throw in a jar.
To my recollection there is a little bit of 2022 Cringle, some ODF and the last pinch of a can of Quiet Nights.
Well, my first impression is very favorable. A very smooth, rich smoke.
