Smoking some Kieler Förde Latakia based, no Virginias, in a cob “Made in China”.

Obviously it’s not made from the same corn cobs any MM cob is made of. I had to fill the bottom with a kind of hardwood plug because there is was almost no material than a sponge like white mass. But now it tends to burn through one wall, it’s getting thinner every smoke. I don’t mind.

Cobs today are what Grabows were in the old days. Smoke it untill it burns out and get another one.

Sam Gawiths Grousemoor in a lovely Chacom Maya Grise straight. Enjoyed in my shed with a mug of tea.
I didn't quite take to this pipe initially, preferring more rugged looking rusticated and utilitarian pipes and smoking deep earthy English blends. However, upon hesitantly dipping my toe into the Lakeland floral style of Grousemoor, based around bright and delicate citrusy Virginias, I feel the pipe has found a perfect blend to pair with. I didn't think I would like Grousemoor, but am thoroughly enjoying this pipe smoking experience.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast and a sliced orange lunch. Back to diet maintenance now. I'm half way through this bowl of Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink.
