Work is done for the day, and I'm almost finished smoking Uhle’s Blend 71 in a smooth straight brown family era Sasieni Mayfair 64 N Canadian with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Time to check on the ferals.
Half way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum. I may end the day with this smoke.
I haven't been able to smoke in a few days without hurrying, so I opt to not do so.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a slight bend smooth brown post WWII 1940s Sasieni Ivory 101 Westminster diplomat with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This will do it for me.
I smoke whatever I can grab here in SA. I’ve been to the fourth tobacconist yesterday. I bought the last pouch Davidoff Malawi dark Cavendish Pipe Tobacco, the last tin University Flake and pouch of another local brand Van Erkoms. It produces its blends from local Virginia and Burley grown under the hot sun. But I am sorry to say, I tried Fox, Jock and now a so called „Exclusive Mix“. But they all almost taste the same. Not to my liking.Now I added a bit Perique to the Davidoff-Malawi and the Butterscotch aro with a lovely room note (my wife loves it) turns out very nice.
So beware if you’re ever visiting South Africa, put as much of your favourite blends in your pocket as allowed. Maybe it could be 250 Grams per person.
I went to the immersive exhibit in Las Vegas last year and it was awesome. I really enjoyed it and also recommend it to anyone that may be interested.

Good morning all. I'm just over 3 years in pipe smoking and I didn't really try cellaring any tobacco in the first year. Recently, I opened some HH Pure Virginia that I jarred some 18 months ago and really enjoyed it. Yesterday I opened some Sutliff 507-C Slices jarred 2 years ago and found that delicious as well. I will start my smoking day today with relatively fresh HH Burley Flake in a cob, then dive back into the 507-C for the rest of the day.

Prepping smokes during work meeting, I generally pick 2 pipes a day, switching between the two to allow rest. today a GBD and a Sasieni, both packed with the last of my first tin of Eccentric.
35°, gloomy, and about to rain. Rusticated Italian poker in a British tradition with new Sutliff 507-C. A very fine smoke. 8/10
