The stars have aligned. 2018 Stonehaven in an Altinay Bent Brandy Translucent Meerschaum carved by Nedim. The Stonehaven is thanks to the generous @hoosierpipeguy and his great downsizing event. The pipe is entirely @cshubhra ‘s fault. Celebrating the 20th bowl smoked in this pipe. View attachment 194905
I don't know the tobabbo, but that Altinay is beautiful!!!

Now smoking year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Moisture builds up there at the base and a pipe cleaner barely fits into the end of the bowl. It’s pretty poorly drilled. Have you ever seen this on a meer? Believe it or not though the draw is fine. It’s just hard to want to smoke the thing when I have many other pipes that don’t gurgle at all.
Many have those types of inserts, you may just need to replace the ones on yours.

Got this shrimp of a bent billiard (I had posted it 20230115_124408.jpgon the no name thread) up and working. Completely clogged up with tar, a lot of it solidified, but it's clear now. I christened it with a some Granger. Nine dollars and a lot of elbow grease. Smoked just fine, but certainly not long enough for any deep contemplation!20230115_124350.jpg
