Tried Sutliff blend B38 Dark Obsession tonight in a Stanwell Dublin. Very little to obsess over. Course cut, jet black tobacco with a complement of twigs/stems included. Very little flavor, nicotine, room note, etc. My father-in-law's bowl of Granger completely overpowered it. On a positive side, no bite or lingering aftertaste, so 2 stars out of 5.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm almost half way through this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a sandblasted medium bend 1950s Reuben era Charatan Deluxe 11 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. First time smoking this pipe. Not sure what Va. to devote to it, but I have enough pipes dedicated to the 507-C Slices as is, so I need to figure something out. However, I have found this blend to perform exceptionally well in detecting ghosts from previously smoked blends. No ghost in this pipe.
