@Winterreise excellent choice mate ?they are a very practical design for wet and cold weather conditions.

@Carol I'll have to try Haunted Bookshop in my clay pipes. Only smoking clays from now on; I've sold my 2 briars.

I bought this particular clay because of a post card from my great great grandfather, in Germany, to my great grandfather here in the US. He said he had bought a new clay pipe, 8" long, white, with ring around the bowl! Mine might even have been made from the same mold! I like to think so. Kind of a link to the past.
