Still smoking this year's We Three Kings in a new Ropp Etudiant Panel Brandy. I think I'm becoming a convert to French made pipes. I blame reading a few Maigret novels over winter break. I have some Chacom (C&D) Grand Cru on the way, but it didn't arrive today.

Watching Jack Ryan on Amazon prime. I love spy thrillers.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am half way through this bowl of D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth brown undated pre-republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite p-lip stem. Fed Suzy, Molly, and three ferals. Going back to work now.

Finally finished the Reggie story I've been working on. My last smoke of the day is Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a smooth straight brown circa WW2 Trapwell mountain laurel patent apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Reading while this bowl lasts.

Morning all... I'm currently smoking some Savinelli Doblone D'Oro from my Savinelli Giubileo D'Oro Straight Grain Fiamatta 505ks. The picture doesn't really do it justice - the grain is really nice. But in all honesty, it's not the best Giubileo D'Oro I've seen. Still, it does smoke like a champ.
