Well, my first bowl of Carter Hall was a success, I can see why some of you like it so much. It's easy and mild. It went just fine with the whiskey and water I enjoyed on the side. I'm moving on to something a little more robust though, and am now going to enjoy some Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky in a cob.
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, trout and sugar snap peas dinner, with peach pie and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I'm part way through this bowl of Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching Treasure Island starring Wallace "murderer of Ted Healy" Beery and Jackie Cooper.

Last bowl of the day without any pipe porno pictures! I am finishing up this Black Nun or Bad Nun or whatever it is called that was kindly sent to me last year by Jim Inks. I must say it is an interesting blend and seems to have undertones of Black Twist or something very reminiscent of that style of tobacco. It is different and I am grateful for the opportunity to sample the blend but it really isn't my type of thing. I guess I will just have to stick to my nicotine block buster Twists or Plugs that require serious prep time and absolutely no concern for room note! As you will have probably guessed my pipe of choice is a 6" meerschaum 'cutty' with silver band and Redmanol stem. Have yourself a pleasant rest of the evening and if the 'Big Guy' upstairs so wishes it I will see you all tomorrow. Night everyone!

Lucky Strike? You know those things will kill you bro! Try keeping to Players or Woodbine if you can get them but better still a pipe. BTW I love the meerschaum cigarette holder. I have seen those things turn brown on a few packs of smokes. In the mid 1990s they used to sell for about $8 each. I would hate to think what they cost these days!

That’s what I do. A mild blend and Strong blend. The contrast is good for the palate.
We need to make some tobacco blends flavored with your dinner choices Mr.Inks. Lol, never read your post on an empty stomach. ?
