Almost half way through this bowl of Watch City Simply VOriental in an undated straight smooth medium brown Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching a Hopalong Cassidy movie.
About a third of a bowl left of D&R Windsail in a 2018 full bend smooth Peterson Sherlock Holmes Lestrade with a silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem.
For Cob Tuesday I went "old school." I stuffed some very old, well hydrated, Union Leader (from a round, lever top, United States Tobacco Company metal tub) into my MM Natural Morgan, for a wonderful half hour of codgeresque pleasure.
Just finished smoking G&H Kendall Kentucky in a medium bend egg 2017 Royal Meerschaum Dragon meer with a black and cream swirl amber colored acrylic tapered stem.
Just passing the quarter mark on this bowl of year 2000 GLP Caravan in a 2002 Ser Jacopo Delecta Fatta A Mano R1 sandblast Rhodesian with a smooth extension at the shank with a military mount and a black acrylic tapered stem.
Just passing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2016 Robert McConnell Scottish Cake in a 2002 black pebble finish straight Cavicchi C. Fatto A Mano Billiard and a black acrylic tapered stem. Have enough left for a smaller bowl.
Last smoke of the day is AcesFour’s VaBur in the third pipe I ever bought ($1.95), a 1974 smooth straight French briar Hadley apple with a black vulcanite tapered stem.
First bowl of today is Orlik Golden Slice in a Blakemar Briars Calabash. A frosty day here in Scotland ??????? and expecting some snow
Happy puffing folks
Ettrick puffer
Started with the rest of the Choc Cav/Scotch Flake I put together last night in a standard bulldog Falcon. Now enjoying Germain’s Special Lat Flake in my fuzzy MM Morgan, this pipe paid for itself the day I brought it, it’s perfect for a manic puffer like myself.
