Some Old Gowrie in a Peterson Deluxe 02s. This is my first bowl of this tobacco and the tin is from 2008. I have no clue how this taste when it is young and fresh but aged it is all dark fruit, sweet, bready, mellow and delicious.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem.
Only a few bowls left this tin of SG St James Flake. This bowl is in a late 50s GBD “Prehistoric” shape 262 with a sterling silver band. Nice flake pipe.
I found this rather fun jar of Black X(X) in one of my tobacco cabinets. It is all that remains of a one pound coil gifted to me about five years ago or more by a very dear acquaintance Sheldon in California who worked for one of those mega casinos. I sold him a couple of meerschaum pipes and spent a truly wonderful evening with him and his young lady in a bar in CA. He used to post on here but I haven't seen him around in ages. One of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet. Anyway I am smoking some finely sliced Black X in my run of mill 5 1/2 inch meerschaum 'cutty' burner whilst I do some more office paperwork related stuff. Hope you guys are having a good Sunday.
