Royal Yacht just packed in a Jerry Perry tomato pocket pipe with a short, thick shank and stem for sturdiness. I bought the pipe in 2014, which is etched in the shank, at the N.C. State Fair where Jerry has his stand in The Village of Yesteryear craft building. He pulled the pipe from under the table, and though I looked at his entire display, I bought the one he suggested, and never regret it.

A couple of minutes away from smoking Sept. 2015 Savinelli Doblone d’Oro in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.

Late 19th cent. BBB "THE HANDY" which seems to me a very apt name for this pipe / no maker's marks on the wood and metal so without the fitted case this pipe would've been difficult to identify although maybe easier if I'd known about and bought this 2009 reprint of the 1912 BBB catalogue
