Old Dark Fired in my Jacono Dublin.
The Jacono arrived on Friday and I've smoked it all weekend. It is breaking in far quicker than I would have ever imagined. This is one very nice pipe - equally as good as my Castello, through the two are very different pipes.

Amsterdam
My last smoke of 2014 and my first of 2015 were both a "My Own Blend" I'd made at P.G.C. Hajenius (Amsterdam) a bit over a week before. On the 31st I had a Virginia blend with a little Burley and some Perique, and on the 1st I had an English blend of Virginia (a mix), some Kentucky and some Latakia.
Neither was too complex and they were my first blends, but I was quite happy with them. Nice way of going into 2015.
Happy new year - to everyone for whom a couple of days ago meant a new year, otherwise happy just another day :)

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of Sail Yellow in a 2001 black sandblasted three quarter bend Rinaldo Lithos YY bulldog with an amber colored stem. My next smoke is Vincent Manil La Brumeuse Semois in a straight 2012 MM Pony Express cob.

Just finished smoking Capstan Blue in a straight sandblasted black billiard 2013 PSF POY Kaywoodie with an amber colored lucite stem. Next is the last of this sample of Hoffman’s Distinguished Gentleman in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl.
