Yes indeed my friend. It's always a very interesting adventure when dealing with bureaucracy. On the tobacco, dessert it is but I'm trying to cut the sweetness back and I have now put more cigar leaf in this tasting and I'm smoking another bowl now in the Meer and its better, more like I was hoping but still some tinkering to get it balanced right.@VDL_Piper - Sounds like a much-needed smoke! (And ample dessert, too.)
After a nice lunch, back to the smoking lounge for another round. This time, Exclusive in a Tekin squashed tomato.

Thank you Gord! I found the original stem, though elegant, to be just too long. This is handy and 'just right'That looks like a "comfortable" pipe, that we'd all be at home with. Nothing flashy but just good and solidl Love it!
Amen!And a solid custom stem!
This is a reminder to me to never "give up" on looking at a brand, even if you think subjectively, it's just not for you. I've literally, until today, never seen (at least to my knowledge) a single Radice I personally liked, despite the fam, and now I've seen two I not only like but LOVE. Gorgeous! Stunning. And truly different from anything I've ever seen. Now another brand calling me to find money to spend on, lol.GH Kendal #7 in a Radice Rind 55View attachment 372199
And just to clarify, this is the second Radice I've seen I truly LOVE. Nothing like a traditional shape in a sandblast that looks as if it could have been made into a high dollar smooth. Love the definition, and the clearly visible, parallel flame grain.Nørding Pointer topped with the remnants of some 2020 C&D Opening Night in a Radice Silk Cut

I could tell by the ingredient that's what you were up to. I have a nice stock of whole Tampa cigar leaf on hand for blending. Just picked up a tin of Robert McConnell's Pure Cuba leaf while ordering from Germany as well. This one was of particular interest, since many years ago (when i smoked a large selection of Habanos regularly), i would save the cigar caps - after clipping - in a baby food jar. When i had enough, i'd use those in my pipe blends to similar effect.Yes indeed my friend. It's always a very interesting adventure when dealing with bureaucracy.
