Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have about a third of a bowl left of Wilke High Hat in a 1990 Peterson Irish Second Hungarian natural with a tapered black vulcanite fish tail stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Westminster in a Peterson Premier System B42. Had to make a pipe cleaner run and threw in this and a tin of Old Dublin at Mission Pipe Shop - got to support the local B&M!
Janus in Peterson SH Baker Street. GEC14. Janus is surprisingly good. Will try DGT tomorrow. Too cold to finish the smoke after an hour. Fold and stuff, sorta.
Just finished smoking Peretti Cuban Mixture in an undated slight bent rusticated brown with a darker fumed top unbranded Micoli billiard with a white accented perpex ferrule, off center square shank and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style.
Part way through this bowl of Sept. 2015 Savinelli Doblone d’Oro in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.
Some more KBV Burlier Morning Pipe in an MM Elf Cobbit. LoTR theme aside, these cobbits tend to smoke exceedingly well, in my opinion. Could just be that they’re super forgiving to the relatively new pipe smoker, but I have a much easier time making it through a bowl, even a large one like this, in these pipes.
