I see that, like most Peterson pipes with the green stain eventually do, your is starting to show the green stain fading to brown.
I don’t think the brown spots in my picture is color fading. It is accumulation of tobacco tars.
I do agree that the color is fading, and it is lighter than it used to be. I have seen pictures of others who have the same pipe, and their stain has faded, so that would be the eventual fate of mine as well. Mine survived so far, as I smoke slowly.

The Last Frontier
Started with some KBV Burlier Morning Pipe in a MM Emerald, then some Plum Pudding SR in a MM Charles Towne Cobbler, and moving next into some WC Slices in some interesting looking monster from Boswell’s. Anyone care to give me a shape on this one? I don’t know enough to call it anything other than “the big one.” It’s a bit larger than my other pipes and the stem is quite a bit different, as well... Large straight billiard?
