Celebrating IPSD with Crinkle Flake in a Peterson 2020 Christmas Dublin. Finally getting a handle on this blend after several hours of drying time and a leisurely cadence. A good smoking day to all!
Inspired by all the cooking threads lately, I made a lemon honey roast chicken in a newly acquired dutch oven. Delicious. Now kicking back with some ESO Pembroke in this Eltang Freehand while enjoying the Merseyside Derby:
About a third of a bowl left of C&D Burley Ribbon Cut in a 1970s slight bend black sandblasted Comoy's Silver Cloud 624 square shank sitter with a silver pearl gray acrylic saddle stem. The wind was so strong that it literally smoked my tobacco for me, especially when I was walking up hill. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Now smoking the last of this sample of year 1999 Esoterica Tilbury in a 2003 URAL full bend big bowl egg shaped Lattice meer with a black acrylic saddle stem.
Moved on from 70’s Punk/Alt to 70’s soul and funk. Marvin, Parliament, Isley Bros and Odyssey (Lopez sisters the greatest singers/beautiful women ever). Smoking Gaslight (red light/spotlight) in a funky Masta.
Enjoying some 2020 Cringle Flake in my latest pipe purchase, an estate Castello Natural Vergin Lovat I picked up from @lukasstrifeson a couple of weeks back. This is my first Castello, and it's probably the easiest smoking pipe in my collection. It won't be my last! I can see what the Castello fans mean when they say Castellos tend to accumulate!
C&D Bayou Morning in a Peterson Kapet XL81S 1/4 bent bulldog. Walls on this pipe are 5/8" thick, and give a very cool smoke which is a good thing with lots of perique. Black coffee.
As I just posted in the IPSD thread, getting ready to smoke some 2014 Dunhill Deluxe Navy Rolls in a Lorenzo Spitfire Adria for my celebratory Pipe Day smoke.
Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am a third of the way through this bowl of 1970s Prince Albert in an undated, unbranded straight smooth brown made in France Los Alton VBF Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Time for another set of walking reps.
