Called a few friends in Texas to see how they are doing, and luckily, all of them have their power back. One of them got it back this morning. We still have our power here, and I hope it stays that way. Just finished smoking circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of KBV Festivus VaPer beta test in a 1978 Peterson Deluxe 20S medium bend smooth dark brown billiard with a silver cap military mount black vulcanite saddle stem and p-lip. Lights were flickering off and on for a couple of minutes, but fortunately, we didn't lose power. Ice water (ha!) and bergs is my drink. Coulda just stepped outside, and held a glass to the sky for that.

One of our neighbor's cats, who has mostly adopted us now, looks very much like the one in your photo.
That’s Tuppence, my little girl. I rescued her and her brother from my neighbour when I moved in to my apartment, they were starving and alive with fleas and the day I moved in they came through my bedroom window, ignoring my big Staffordshire Bull Terrier to go and eat from his bowl. Fortunately he grew up with cats and I with zero tolerance for people that mistreat animals, they were family from that moment. Like you I have quite a few strays coming around, they know a soft touch when they see one.
Oh, I’m smoking 1792 in my Rocky Bulldog as I write.
