That's very surprising to me-- C&D tobaccos have a unique house profile to me, between the cut/flavor/source of tobacco, it creates what seems more "raw" and "tobacco-y"(sometimes good, sometimes bad) than other large distributors/brands. I will have to give that one a shot if I see it, especially since it would mean a few years of free age on anything stamped Dunhill.
Oops! My bad! I got that mixed up with Yorktown! Opening Night does have the signature C&D VA taste. It's great in its own right. Yorktown, with it's double stoving, tastes very different and less raw, sweeter, more fruity, and more like DRR. It's been a long night!?

Part way through the last of my stash of Ken Byron Ventures Verge Engine Overdrive in a 2018 smooth straight flame grain Basil Meadows Merchant Service "Bing" replica with an aluminum band and black ebonite stem. This may finish my smoking day.

Good Morning pipe people! A beautiful day in Lutz, 57 degrees and perfect pipe smoking weather. I am sitting out front of the house watching what I are assume are Egret's drilling holes in my front garden whilst I enjoy a bowl of Condor Plug in a meerschaum 'cutty' with a Redmanol stem. To quote dear old Jim Ink's my drink is a mug of some coffee from a 'pod' machine which doesn't taste as bad as I expected, it's amazing what BJ's (a store) sells in these parts.
