Enjoyed a tasty lunch and am now smoking Tabac Manil Coupe Fine (Pure Semois) in a smooth straight 1980s James Upshall Walnut pot with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Dry as a bone, I know it'll burn very quickly.

Started this bowl of Granger in my Dagner poker cob. This is like comfort food!

Sacrilege! lol Actually, I have looked at it before & seen a possible Poker there.

It's not the prettiest pipe but I've seen them for sale at $250 [That's what they're asking. No-ones biting]

During my buying spree I saw that it had a $10 bid on it with minutes to go. So I thought 'why not?', put in a last second bid & won her. [Yes, pipes are female despite their phallic like appendage]

A pipe's beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Such huge victories just make one feel naughty..., like getting away with not just one cookie, but the entire cookie jar, with none the wiser. What I'm smoking as I type is one such pipe, a Savinelli Punto Oro straight apple(having some Brown Clunee in it by the way, to stay on topic). I got it last month for 23 smackers-- was badly caked, had a sizeable gash on the rim from careless reaming(which has been covered up just from excess alcohol "restaining" it during S+A treatment), and had a wicked Cherry cough syrup ghost which I presumed to be Captain Black, and a yellow oxidized stem. Did my best to restore it with my absolutely minimal resources, and did okay I'd say-- chasing embers' toothpaste trick worked pretty well. Currently trying to re-break it in, hoping it performs well.

I zapped it in a food processor a few times. Kept it loose in the bowl to start.
