Awoke to a pleasant 21*C/70*F. Overcast with forecast showers & possible storm with a top of 30*C/86*F
The recent four days of steady rain has put out many of the fires that were still burning.

Started the day with Butternut Burley in my 1960's Skippy Prince Paneled Bulldog.
Liptons tea sweetened with Blood Wood organic honey.

Now smoking Ken Byron Ventures Verge Engine Overdrive in a 2018 smooth straight flame grain Basil Meadows Merchant Service "Bing" replica with an aluminum band and black ebonite stem. This will get me to dinner time.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, mahi-mahi fish and asparagus dinner with a bowl of year 2002 McClelland Christmas Cheer in a smooth straight WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Have enough left for one more bowl.

Virginia only blends - including one of my all-time favourites (IMO up there in the stratosphere along with ORIGINAL VIRGINIA FLAKE (OVF)) from the now sadly defunct G. Smith & Sons of Charing Cross Road, London (after about one hundred and fifty years) OLD LONDON 100% VIRGINIA (loose from 2010) in a modern (1986) Calabash with recent replacement bowl:-

P.S. As this is the last of my supply of ^ I'd be most interested if anyone with their finger on the pulse knows who blended this so that I can check if it's still available even if differently branded ...

Snacked on a couple of oranges, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 111 in a smooth medium bend post-WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock Killarney 9BC with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem.
