In about another ten minute I get off. I'll head down stairs to the smoking area outside and enjoy a bowl of Nutty Irishman in my mini billiard while I wait for my wife to get here with the car.
Just popped a tin of 2005 Telegraph Hill and loaded up a Sav 606.
It's very different from the regular TH I know and love. The Spicy nature is almost entirely gone. It is very sweet and a little bitey.
If I didn't know it was aged TH I would never guess it was the same tobacco.
I like it.....but I might like one year old TH better.
More research required.
Finished up a bowl of Edaward G Robson blend, and and also Carter Hall. Everything seems to be smoking hot tonight which is odd. Maybe it is just an off night.
Sliced some coins from an Amati cigar to add to a home blend. I like cigar leaf in a pipe blend but I've never cared much for stogies. I'm smoking the remainder of this one and it's really not that bad.
Thanks @tomnernas2ndson !
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs, green beans and pinto beans dinner with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. Part way through this bowl of Wilke No. 44 in a 1970s slight bend black sandblasted English Rustic 120S Billiard (Comoy’s second) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I like the yenidje in this mild to medium blend. Haven't smoked this very special pipe in quite a while, but it belonged by my favorite college professor and mentor.
