"Burley Velvet" from Lewis Pipe & Tobacco in Minneapolis. "Wide cut Burleys are blended and lightly flavored to create a very mild smoke" per his description.
I've never had the Velvet blend and am not sure if Burley Velvet is a match for it. Either way, it's a good smoke.

Definitely not close in flavor to any of the Christmas Cheers that I’ve had but still very good. Very good aging potential too.

How have you observed the St James aging? I have a couple of tins from every year since 2015, don't want to risk "over-aging" it, wouldn't want the perique to go flat.
Yes, definitely along a similar vein. I assume it'll be an annual thing but 2019 was the first year. A mixtured of diverse aged virginias pressed into a flake. It's not quite McClelland's ketchup quality but it's pretty good and definitely has aging potential.
Did you re-stain this? I've been working on getting my contrast stains better.

Finished off some delayed gratification I let sit over night, and enjoying the reload of Comoy's #4 in the Bent Twain with a straight forever stem along with a Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA. All good deliciousness!
