Good afternoon friends. It’s been awhile, I hope you all are doing well? Seems like a whole bunch of new releases have come out since I’ve been out of the loop... I look forward to trying a few new ones and of course I’ve been sticking to my oldies but goodies.
Currently smoking some Revor Plug in a Rattray’s Bulldog.

"Burley Velvet" from Lewis Pipe & Tobacco in Minneapolis. "Wide cut Burleys are blended and lightly flavored to create a very mild smoke" per his description.

I've never had the Velvet blend and am not sure if Burley Velvet is a match for it. Either way, it's a good smoke.

Gawith&Hoggarth Rich dark Honey(Spring)Dew and Genod-Opera1561 Squat Bulldog, mighty fine combo if you are asking meView attachment 20802

Would love to see more pics of this beauty. The grain looks impeccable.

Now smoking year 2014 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem.

How have you observed the St James aging? I have a couple of tins from every year since 2015, don't want to risk "over-aging" it, wouldn't want the perique to go flat.

Lovely pipe there!

Is this Cringle Flake something similar to Christmas Cheer in regards to it being released as a Christmas limited edition?

Yes, definitely along a similar vein. I assume it'll be an annual thing but 2019 was the first year. A mixtured of diverse aged virginias pressed into a flake. It's not quite McClelland's ketchup quality but it's pretty good and definitely has aging potential.

C&D Pegasus in a BBB 420 I've been working on. It looked like it had been buried in wet gravel for 47 years.

Did you re-stain this? I've been working on getting my contrast stains better.
