Went for a walk and enjoyed some of my own Burley blend mixed with Boswells Old School in a Golden Square Meer lined billiard.
It happens to an awful lot of cat lovers. It's as if the cats left chalk-signs outside houses, the way hobos used to, to tell their fraternity what each householder was like - where to call, where not to call, etc.The word is out. Your house is feral paradise!![]()
@MontyTX That looks awesome! Do you know what is the fancy ferrule?

Nice looking pipeGot on Smokingpipes to order some more Visions of Celephais.
Somehow this estate Comoy's Vintage Smooth Dublin wound up in my cart.
Made an excellent pairing while I worked on the boat.

I meant the pipeIt’s only my second bowl of Northwoods. I’m undecided about this blend but want to give it several more bowls before reaching any conclusions. I understand it to be an English “crossover” blend, and so far, it burns nicely with a normal amount of relights but I’m finding the topping may make it a bit too sweet and aromatic for my tastes, which admittedly skew in favor of natural tobacco, English, Balkan, Virginias, and VaPers, without much added flavorings. I only bought 4 oz to try, so science demands I soldier on!
Great pic @Choatecav ! Careful wondering what I’d do…that’ll get ya in some trouble 6 times out of 10Beautiful day here today and I got several things accomplished but mostly just enjoyed the sun and the warmth.
I decided to close the day with some Carolina Red Flake w/Perique '25. I enjoyed it in one of my favorite billiards. A Ben Wade Black Friar. I thought to myself, "What would @Speak Easy do?" So I tried a picture with the pipe silhouetted against the setting sun. Came out sorta cool. Then I took a more conventional shot.
