Atlas Balkan in a Savinelli Pot. Nice bold smoke for a night with north winds right off the lake. It'd be bracing but I'm nice and warm in my garage so take that nature.
Everything else notwithstanding, you are drinking the coffee I grew up on, and still drink to this day. When I was a kid (started drinking coffee at 7), Community was only available in Louisiana, Mississippi, and coastal Texas. Both of my parents hailed from Mississippi, and I was born in Louisiana. When we later moved to Alabama, it wasn't available there at the time. I clearly remember my father bringing home a 12-bag case of Community 1-lb. bags any time we visited MS or LA relatives, or later, when I was in college in MS, he would have me bring a case home a couple of times during the school year. I did the same thing well into my 30's, as it wasn't made nationally available until the early '90s.

I’d read some reviews of it saying it was a wet pipe, but I’m not having that trouble.Yeah . . . . have trouble with that, too. Should really leave the filter in because I seem to be very susceptible to tongue bite, but . . . .

Ice water and bergs is my drink. Been reading.

Two friends on another forum, both unfortunately deceased, turned me on to Community Coffee. Both of them wrote their drink as I do because they drank it neat as well. Every time you see that phrase, you can bet that I am remembering two very wonderful people who were dedicated to being special human beings who enjoyed pipe smoking and good coffee.

Just finished smoking Sutliff Cringle Flake (Holiday Edition 2024) in a black straight, grain etched family era post WW2 Four Dot Sasieni “Appleby” apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Sleepy Suzy decided that food was more important than sleep, so off I go to the kitchen.

Just had a bowl of Coniston in the Washington cob. First pipe in many days and it really hit the spot.
A quarter of a bowl left of year 2020 H&H Chatham Manor in a straight smooth 2023 Peterson Red Killarney 53 lovat with metal accents around the shank and a black acrylic p-lip saddle stem. Tomato the Brave and Harry the Hairy came in to eat, but neither ate much, and went back out. Daisy the Feral Princess is lying on a catnip sock.
