Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink.
Custom blend of Doblone d'Oro, Opening Night and a bit of Capstan Yellow - in the 68 Derry. The DO really came through, (one of my favourite blends).

Near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2015 John Aylesbury Sir John’s Flake Virginia in a straight smooth light brown 2020 Ryan Alden Ace of Spades squat bulldog with a spalted pecan top and ferrule that’s attached to the tapered black acrylic stem.
Great blend and I also like the companion blend, Tuskegee Airman. I appreciated C&D honoring those Marines and pilots whose service and sacrifices for the country is often overlooked.

It's been a day from Hell at work, and still about 2 hours to go. I've looked at so many Excel spreadsheets today that I think I'm close to hallucination.
That being said, I've gone ahead an prepped an appropriate smoke for the 5 o'clock whistle. I figure if I'm seeing imaginary stuff in terms of numbers and figures, I might as well counter that with some appropriate leaf.
So, I'm digging into what's left of my last can of McClelland Grey Havens from 2009. Pairing it with my eye-crossing Op-Art finished 2008 Paronelli pseudo-calabash (Sardinian briar).
Now, when quitting time gets here, all I need to do is light up, lean my head back a bit, close my eyes and say goodbye to "one of those days". At least I don't have to deal with a nasty commute to get there-- working from home does indeed have its benefits.
For those that care, the price-tag on the top of the lid reads $18.38. Ahhh, the good old days...
