Thanks! And YES, a heat gun, exactly. I was needing an excuse to add a heat gun to my toolbox anyway. I just got it, during Harbor Freight's Black Friday weekend sale, so their cheap $20 heat gun was only $10 Not sure if you have H.F. up in Idaho, but it's a great little store for all your basic tools at decent prices.

Last smoke of the day is year 2018 D&R Windsail in a smooth straight family era 1950s Barling 313 T.V.F. EXEXEL pot with a black ebonite saddle stem. Just fed Daisy the Feral Princess. When I was cleaning pipes, Tomato the Brave jumped on my lap, but I had to move him so I could do my work. He laid on the arm of my chair for a few minutes, and then jumped down and laid on my feet. I got the message, and when I finished cleaning pipes, I gave him some attention. After that, Tomato wanted out. Harry the Hairy finally woke up, ate, looked around and went out. I'm reading while this bowl lasts.

Good day, all! L.J. Peretti Tashkent this morning. In homage to Steddy's splendid gnarly Castello poker from Tuesday, I am smoking my much lesser version Castello Old Antiquari poker, which I also think of as gnarly! A pot of Lampsang Souchong on the side. Pretty miserable rainy, windy weather here in Ohio.
