Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast, pecans and a big golden delicious apple lunch. I'm near the last third of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink. Took out the trash and broke down boxes for the recycle can under the watchful eyes of Daisy the Feral Princess. Dunno where the other two are.

In the immortal words of Conway Twitty, “Hello darlin’, nice to see you.” Don’t be scared Paul, I’m talking to your pipe, not you. Love me a tall rimmed bulldog.
Thanks man, This pipe isn’t that photogenic as it has me using the old phone and my lack of skill. It looks better in hand. I need to update photos for sure.

C&D Bayou Morning in an IMP Meer. So far this is one of my favorite VaPers. I still have to try the flake version, Chenet’s Cake, Exclusive, and Stratford. View attachment 435416
I love Bayou Morning myself and You owe it to yourself to try the Flake and Exclusive. Each is a progressive step above the other and the Exclusive takes it to 50-51% Perique.

The Altinay Rusticated Dublin Meer with Watch City Bada-Bing. Mug of Kenya Black tea.
So far, I really like it! The tart cherry combined with the Perique is quite nice. The description from WC site:
The surprise return of a Watch City Original! Bada-Bing was discontinued years ago due to the unavailability of a certain ingredient, but it's back and so is this unique aromatic. Black and Golden Cavendish with a tart Cherry top-note is given a healthy dose of St James Perique (Close to 20%!!). You didn't think Watch City would produce "Just another cherry blend, did you?

Decided to have some Sasieni Balkan in a no name meer bent.

This will probably be my last post for a few days. I have some old friends coming into town that I used to ride with when I did Cavalry reenacting. We will sit around the fire pit, smoke cigars and pipes, sip bourbon and reminisce of old times and adventures at various places all over the eastern part of the country. Undoubtedly, we will also remember why this busted up leg or that dislocated shoulder still hurts due to a horse kick or falling off during a saber charge.

Then, on Friday we have a guided tour of Fort Henry and Fort Donelson, up in Dover, TN. where some significant actions of the war took place and Ulysses S. Grant earned his nickname of "Unconditional Surrender Grant."

Then on Saturday, we are going down to Franklin, TN to the large Civil War show which is always a lot of fun and a chance to see many more friends.

Anyway, I probably won't be able to check the forum for a while so y'all "keep your noses clean" and enjoy yourselves.

Back home after lucking out and beating traffic from Seattle this afternoon. Always nice to have a 1 1/2 hour drive instead of 2 1/2 or 3 for the same distance. Happily on my leather couch in the smoking lounge unwinding with a bowl of Dark Moor (not Pee Dee) in a Pete meer and some YouTube on the still functional 32" plasma screen from the early 2000s. :)
