Breaking in this Castello 23(?) KK with year 2015 GL Pease Jack Knife Plug. This blend reminds me of a more natural tasting Old Dark Fired. Naturaly sweet Virginias with the earthy, spicy, and smoky Dark Fired Kentucky. It’s not as deep or sweet as ODF but it tastes better to me. ODF has this weird casing that takes a while to burn off. This is good from the get go.IMG_5369.jpeg

Lovely pipe. 😎

We use raw honey in our parts for sore throat, works wonders. Hope you feel better.
Thanks. I'll try it now. My wife works with a Chinese medicine doc. She usually fixes me right up.

I love that pipe. I'm new to pipes - came from the cigar world - but it's one of my favorite of the 20 or so I've impulse collected so far. Easy draw, smokes cool, stays lit. I can gravity fill or pack 'er down, doesn't matter!

edit - And the author is my favorite shape.

2021 Mad Fiddler Flake in the Imp Sitter.

Reading over blend ingredients and descriptions the other day, it struck me that Mad Fiddler Flake, Windjammer, and HU Nyala were all very similar. I've only had the Fiddler to date. Does anyone have experience with these to where they can make a comparison?

Now smoking Wilke No. 111 in a smooth medium bend 1938-1948 Pre-Republic Peterson Killarney 9BC with a nickel band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. This will get me to dinner time.

My old friend John left with Norton. A month with the little fella passed by all too quickly for us, but it was the right thing to do for him and for my friend who lives by himself and needs a companion. Norton will be the best one he ever had.

Unknown Hinson is awesome. I've seen him play live around five times. He's a really nice guy. I heard a while back that he had a stroke and wasn't going to be playing anymore.
So I had heard something similar but someone told me about him being booked at Mama Tried Motorcycle Show in Milwaukee, WI on February 22, 2026. First it’s a great scooter show but if it’s true I might have to fly out and go.

Well, Jim, I know you and your wife will miss little Norton the Nosey terribly but keep in mind that you have done a wonderful thing for him. You rescued him, fed and cared for him, had him neutered and found a good home for him to live in. It doesn't get much better than that. Hopefully, that will soften his absence. Kudos to you.
Thank you. Norton the Nosey was here one day shy of a month, but he certainly captured our hearts as we did his. We know that we did the right thing for him, but it'll take a little time for us to get used to it. I never saw a more friendlier more lovable cat than Norton. He wants to everybody's friend. My friend who adopted him lives by himself and will adore Norton as the loving companion that the little fella is.
