Man, M'boro has grown a ton since I was last there just a couple of years ago.

Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. The ferals are outside, but after midnight, the weather will be in the 20s, and as I have done the last few nights, I made sure that they were inside when I went to bed. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap.
Murfreesboro has grown too quickly for my taste. When I moved here in 1992, the 1990 census had the city at 48,000.
As of 2025, It's currently estimated at 169,000, and nipping closely at the heels of Clarksville, which I believe is estimated at 185,000 for this year. So yeah, Murfreesboro has roughly doubled in size every 10 years over the last 30-35 years to become the 6th largest city in the state.
Of course, Clarksville is ridiculously huge in area, so there's that. I can't believe that it's 14 miles as the crow flies from I-24 Exit 11 to Gate 3 at Fort Campbell at the state line. That's quite a haul if you attempt to navigate it on the ground through the city.

Almost a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Full Virginia Flake in a slight bend 1968 group 4S Dunhill Shell 475 cherrywood with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Daisy the Feral Princess was banging at the back door, and when I let her in, Harry the Hairy was right behind her. I shut the door, and just after I did, I heard the familiar "yip yip" of Tomato the Brave. He must have run quickly to the door.
