Today was a quick smoke of Lane 1-Q in a Peterson 150 while running my GSP on a damp cold afternoon. I did not include a picture of the pipe as there are so many of then on this site, don't have a cat so none of them, don't have a horse but I do like horses, so here's one of "mans best friend" and mine also. 
Just finished smoking year 2019 HU Directors Cut in a 2003 smooth reddish brown medium bend, gold banded 3 Star Ferndown Tudor Root with a tapered black acrylic stem. Great smoke, great pipe, and great conversation with a great friend.
Rambling what is arguably my greatest creation, Blend 73’s - or Dan’s Blend in a second generation three star Lee Bull Moose. 73’s is a smooth English Blend with a hint of cherry but in the tradition of SPC Plum Pudding.

It’s fantastic stuff. It is billed as a semi-aro but I don’t think of it that way. I think the casings here are beautifully done, integrated and complimentary to the tobaccos. The DFK is not at all overwhelming but there in the background. The Rustica strength comes through nicely. The VA’s lean hard towards empire vs domestic. Deep, rich, filling. I already bought more.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, two and a half pounds of pot roast dinner with freshly made oatmeal raisin and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I'm almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching part two of Holmes vs. Doyle on PBS.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2010 Amphora Original (Brown) in a full bend barley sandblast Peterson 125th Anniversary 1898-2023 No. 172/330 302 brandy military mount with a silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip saddle stem. I'm in the middle of cleaning pipes. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
