Came back home to my new GH Zhang pipe sitting on the porch. Though it's hard to see in the picture and subtle, save for to the sense of touch, this bowl has 8 panels just as the shank does. Also, the carver cleverly sanded in 2 smooth sitting cants on the bottom of the bowl so that it can lean slightly either way while sitting up. Slick detail.
So...time to give this bad boy a whirl. I have no patience for such things! Busting out the Cringle Flake and testing it on a red VA.
